Valentine’s Gift?

Came across this device while on my blog rounds this morning and thought that it would make the perfect Valentine’s gift for those in need of help in the bedroom seduction department.

All of this for only $30, now I can believe that we are living in the 21st century.

“Soft light, music and scent are excellent for soothing your mood”.

WTF, who let the hippies into the technical design department?

(H/T To The Accordion Guy for drawing this to my attention)

Olfactory is such a powerful sense. I have a particular favorite incense from a Japanese maker that's been perfecting their recipe for about 500 years. Scent is wildly personal, though, innit? I mean, I am most particular about fragranced products and the things mass-marketed for scent like room-fresheners often smell like cheap chemicals to me. Funny thing to me is those bathroom fresheners, which in the end only make the room smell like pooey cheap flowery chemicals -- may as well just smell the less-toxic poo! Gosh, I need more sleep, clearly!
What was the subject?
Oh, yeah, this ramble was to say that even if I liked the little scent diffuser (it's kind of cute, but the light would keep me awake) I'd have a hard time finding a fragrance to diffuse that I'd like.

It sorta looks like a little nuclear reactor, doesn't it?

pd, the last thing you need is your PC waking you up in the middle of the day wanting to get fresh with you.

Phlegmmy, Yes, scent is very personal, like the idea of them still working on perfecting their incense after 500 years.

That was my first thought on what it reminded me of, and it would be too distracting in the bedroom.

It is the 21st century's version of the lava lamp. :)

I'm ignoring the fact that Valentine's Day is approaching.

rt, Spot on with the lava lamp.

Valentine's day - yet another sales opportunity to fleece the masses from their hard earned cash, and this one is completely pointless.
