News Stories

Wonder if the person who wrote The Terminator script had ever heard of this (around since 1969).

This was a major news story here this week.

Why a kilogram no longer weighs a kilogram is explained here.

Oddly enough, goats are open-minded about sex.

I wondered about the European news source called Skynet, too - like WTF were they thinking - maybe the brand imprinting is not so powerful as Ewing Oil? I dunno, though. There IS a Ewing Oil in Texas. People are disappointingly unimaginative sometimes, oui?

1. "We tried to understand what's going on [in the electronic equipment] but unfortunately we did not succeed," explained Jean-Yves Le Gall from Arianespace

Ummm...
(You notice the English one worked. I could be wrong, as I am reading with half my brain, today.)

2. Senior detectives investigating the case declined to confirm speculation in the Finnish media yesterday that the gunman may not have been acting alone, but may have been in contact with the American teenager, Dillon Cossey, who was arrested last month while allegedly planning an incident at his school.

That has made the news a bit here, today. The young man was from my general area, in Pennsylvania.

I'd love to have a business from home. I consider it more and more. If I had a good idea, then maybe I'd start one. I'm growing weary of the teens and their angst (and inability to cope with it).

3. Le Grand K has a shrinkage problem. Sounds like a typical French issue. (ha)

4. I'm too busy laughing to respond.

5. Inter-species relationships are just so wrong! Wrong, I tell ya! Those Spadefoots are a bunch of Jezebels!
